Hair Care Routine 2018 (Kerastase, Alfaparf, L’oreal Products Review)

My Hair Condition, Journey and Background.

My hair is damaged due to excessive use of styling tools (flat iron, curling iron, hair dryer, etc) and the worse part is I tortured my hair without giving it any nutrition whatsoever. Now my hair is frizzy, thin and vvverry damaged.

But the problems I have did not only just occur few months ago, the problems started way back since I was in junior high school. So here are the list of the problem and what products I used:

I had a really severe hair loss when I was in 7th grade and I did not know what to do and why did it happen. I did not use any styling tools at that time and I thought my hair was perfectly fine.So I decided to cut my hair short! And it did lessen my hair fall a bit by bit

Going through first and second year of high school, hair fall was still an issue for me but the stupid thing is, I FLAT IRONED MY HAIR EVERY DAY (without using any heat protection of course :) ). Why? because I have a curly hair and smoothing it out was not an option. Also I did bleached my hair like four times. I know, am I genius or what?

Last year of high school was the time I started to look for hair care products to fix my hair. I tried oils (grape seed, olive, any oils that I find in the kitchen), hair spa by L’oreal, hair mask by XL Professional, Mane n Tail shampoo and conditioner, it all did not work out. And yes, my hair was still severely damaged

And now, entering first year of uni I finally got my grip about hair care products which soon become my hair care routine!

Hair Care Routine

1. Keratin Therapy Treatment by Alfaparf

I went to my nearest saloon and look for keratin treatment, it cost me around Rp. 1.000k for one time treatment. My hair became very smooth after I did this treatment, sadly the smooth effect did not last long. But it did repaired my damaged hair, and now I don’t have to straightening my hair each time I finish shampoo-ing. Overall I am satisfied with this treatment. I can say that this treatment changed my hair, A LOT. If you want to know more about this treatment please let me know! :)

2. Kérastase Specifique Stimuliste

After my keratin treatment, I feel that my hair is much silkier so it doesn’t tangle as much as it used to, which mean less hair fall. But I need something to keep my hair root healthy, so I decided to buy this serum.

And thank God it works quite well, it did not stop the hair fall problem 100% but it was helpful. I have been using this product for over a month and my hair loss has lessen drastically.

I use this product every time I wash my hair, and I apply it at the root.

3. Kérastase Aura Botanica Concentré Essentiel

This product is very good if you have frizzy hair, it immediately tamed my hair everytime I spray this.

A quick note, I only use this at the end of my hair because it’s quite oily if you use it at the root.

I use it whenever I feel my hair is unruly.

4. Kérastase Nectar Thermique

NEVER use styling product without protection. This product is quite ok. My split ends are almost non-existence after I use this product for over two months.

5. Alfaparf Keratin Therapy Hair Mask

THIS IS THE KEYYYYYYYYYYY.. Thankful for whoever made this product. Lol. Hence the keratin therapy treatment effect slowly fading (it's still smooth tho) this mask helps to recharge the effect. AND I LOve LOvE LoVE the result each time I use it, I use this as a usual hair mask every once a week.
